CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (CQI)
Welcome to our CQI page. Family Service believes in an organizational culture where all levels of staff in all programs and disciplines are constantly motivated to improve the services provided by the agency. To achieve this vision, Family Service has adopted Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) as its management philosophy and way of doing business. CQI emphasizes the continuous study and improvement of the processes of providing services to our clients and the community and is based on the following principles:
Ø Focus on the customer. Ø Understand work as systems and processes. Ø Encourage teamwork. Ø Improve communication and coordination. Ø Base decisions on reliable information. Ø Make sure action is implemented. Ø Demonstrate leadership commitment.
To help us in implementing CQI, we ask that all of our customers (clients, family members, funders, referring agencies, advocates, employees, volunteers, etc.) do the following:
Ø Let us know how we are doing by filling out satisfaction surveys and follow-up surveys. Each program sends out surveys at designated times of year so please take a few minutes to fill them out. Ø If you have any suggestions at any time on how we can improve our services, please let us know. You can tell a therapist or other staff person, the program supervisor, or the Director of Quality Improvement. Her name is Anita Swift, and you can reach her at 513-354-5633. If you feel that your suggestion was not adequately addressed, contact the Director of Quality Improvement. Ø Participate in focus groups. Each program will hold a focus group at least one time a year. Contact the program supervisor or the Director of Quality Improvement to find out when the next focus group is scheduled.
